Ceramics from Musta Lintu Pottery, Tervajoki

Hi, I'm Richard Raven, a self-taught potter from New Zealand. I make ceramics for my customers, such as high-quality household goods, unique wall tiles and decorative and gift items with more than 40 years of experience. My ceramics workshop, Musta Lintu Saviverstas, is located in Ostrobothnia, Vaasa Tervajoki, next to Kyrönjoki.

Take a look at my products and contact me if you are interested in ordering one of the above from me. I also hold ceramics courses in, for example, Kankaanpää, Espoo and my home municipality, inquire about possible courses.

High quality for daily use

The household items I make are made by hand drilling from stoneware. Thanks to their high quality, the products can be used daily. They can be washed in the dishwasher, and they can be used in both the oven and the microwave. One of my most popular products is a salt pig, which keeps the salt and sugar stored in it from clumping. Read more.

Products that do not lose their beauty

Ceramics are made in my workshop entirely by hand, including all work steps. Every pattern, surface and even the smallest detail is unique. That's why ceramic objects are great gifts and focal points for, say, home decor. The high-quality manufacturing method makes the objects long-lasting both in terms of appearance and use.
